Estimator questions.
How accurate is this estimate?+
Within roughly 10% of the final quote — the on-site survey may adjust track length, lining type or wastage based on what we actually see.
Why does fullness matter?+
Fullness multiplies the fabric required vs the window width. 2.0× is standard; 2.5× gives the regal, fuller look favoured for majlis and formal living.
What is pattern repeat?+
Patterned fabrics must be cut so motifs align across joined widths — adding wastage proportional to the repeat depth.
Is VAT really 5%?+
Yes. The UAE has charged 5% VAT on residential and commercial supplies since 2018. Hospitality FF&E may qualify for project-level exemptions.
